I don't like cloudflare's overly crowded UI that promotes there paid plans. Often times when you open any settings, you would be greeted with half the features that are only for paid customers. The free features are plenty, and are very useful, but so many labels of paid features make it crowded and not a pleasant experience. There different price plans aren't very intuitive either.

For my personal use, I wish there'd be a more affordable non-business pay plan. I largely stick with the free offering for my personal sites, but I'd love to have some upgraded features but can't justify the monthly price for what are largely hobby and portfolio websites that don't generate any income. That being said, the free plan is quite suitable too.

The only downside of Cloudflare bot management is the implementation, it is too technical which makes it difficult to implement by a beginner because of this the price of implementation increases significantly and therefore many small companies and startups are not able to afford the services. Also, their customer support needs some serious improvements.
