What users say about Zapier pricing

Verified User

Zapier's free plan is decent for basic needs, but for heavy users or those requiring more advanced features, the pricing tiers can become a bit steep. It's an investment, no doubt, but if you rely heavily on automation for your daily tasks, the efficiency gains might justify the cost.

Leonardo

As users require more tasks or want to use premium integrations, the cost can escalate quickly. For small businesses or individual users with a high number of automations or those relying on premium apps, the monthly fees can become a significant expense. Additionally, the pricing tiers dictate the speed at which tasks are executed, meaning users on lower tiers might experience a delay compared to those on premium plans.

The cost became too high for the business, and we had to switch to multiple systems to get all the native integrations we needed. We were able to centralize everything under a different provider using webhooks and APIs. Zapier needs a more affordable pricing plan for businesses operating in developing countries (parity pricing).

I hate to say it but the price is high compared to other similar companies but they are good at what they do so it's hard to say whether I would switch to another company or not if they have similar features as I don't have a personal touch or experience with the company to maintain loyalty if I have to be honest. However, I am enjoying their services now and like what they are doing. Maybe if they improved the customer service features more people would maintain loyalty and would want to use their services every day as they have made it easy to use and integrate with other software that's out there.

I have noticed that even though Zapier offers a free plan, it is limited for those who need a high volume of actions or a quicker update rate. The cost of paid plans can be a bottleneck for small businesses or freelancers on a limited budget. Finally, despite wide compatibility, not all applications offer the same integration depth. In some cases, the actions available for automation may be limited, decreasing the power offered by the tool.
